NEEDS & PROJECTS
                       April 2011, EZ Child ID System - granted to the police department and is valued at $4,850.
                     This system is used to create a permanent record for parents and caregivers of identifying
                     characteristics for children and the elderly who are at risk of becoming lost. This service is
                     provided to the public at no cost.
                            
                     
November 2011, Policy tracking and distribution software - one time acquisition cost of $7,195

The Foundation is accepting donations for the following projects:

  • D.A.R.E. Summer Camp – annual amount needed $9,000. Goal Met for 2014.
                           We are now accepting donations for 2015.                          
  • Commission on Accreditation for law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) annual membership dues and associated
    expenses.  The annual fundraising goal is $4,000.  Go to www.calea.org to learn more.                   
  • Motorized Utility Vehicle & Trailer – one-time purchase price of $12,000 - $20,000 (depending
                         on the make and model of the vehicle selected and accessories).  This will be used by volunteers
                         and police officers for staffing special events, and for law enforcement operations in which the use of
                         an all-terrain vehicle is needed.
  • Carol Duncan Police Cadet Academic Scholarship -- $4250 annually to fund full scholarship to Franklin County
    High School graduate to attend Neosho County Community College after being hired as a part-time police
